See end of video for credits. CMDR Precambrian Mollusc The teapot was a shout out to the squadron I am a part of, they did a lot of exploration in Graea Hypue sector where the teapot appears. The teapot is the 'Utah Teapot' decorated with the squadron logo and was supposed to be a bit more subtle but I messed up the fade in timing. The Utah Teapot was often used in computer graphics as a demonstration object for various techniques, and was occasionally snuck into places as an 'easter egg'. If you remember the Windows "Pipes" screen saver, if you set the connectors to ball joints, every now and again it would plot the ball joint as a teapot.
