Driving around the spectacular volcanic crater lakes was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. During this trip, we hiked the Boca do Inferno, saw the Carvao Aqueducts, explored the abandoned Monte Palace Hotel, and swam in Ponta da Ferraria.
