Buffalo City Metro is intensifying its crackdown on the illegal scrap metal trade. The metro is targeting sellers and scrapyard owners who deal in stolen municipal infrastructure. The operation comes as authorities battle the growing crisis of copper theft, which has left communities without water, power and transport services.
