JMS Lommel This is always hell for me! I don't like riding here at all! But until today! What we saw was extraordinary for me. Reconnaissance: P6 with a fastest time of 2:21.025 (the previous practice on a Friday was 3 min!! ) Timed practice: P7 with 2:21.049 but number 5 is only 1.470 sec faster! Race 1: P6, rode incredibly fast. A slightly slower start meant I hung in 10th place for almost a full lap. Just before the first lap, I had moved up to P9. Then I fought for a very long time, setting my fastest time in the 4th lap at 2:20.234 sec! I gradually managed to creep forward, with an exciting battle between me and #524 Sebe Vangenechten in the final lap. Series 2: 🤦🏻‍♂️ What was Dad doing here?! Dad was still busy with the camera when the clock was already at 10 seconds. I couldn't lower my head to look at the bar. So the bar fell, Dad gave the signal, ride on, I started the chase, got completely pushed off the track in the first corner and fell. Of course, my front wheel went over the edge of the track and my butt landed on my spinning rear wheel. That hurt for a moment! By the time I got the bike upright and they came to help me, at least 20 to 30 seconds had passed! So from P17 to .... when I started my last lap, number 1 was right on my rear wheel so he was off, but I still had to fight for a spot. That was half a lap later so I finished in P8. Fastest lap 2:23.966, this was also in lap 4 again, but we rode for 2 minutes because everyone was pulling away again. Super performance, I showed that I can do it and to be here in Lommel. 0:00 reconnaissance 5:06 Timed practice 9:23 Heat 1 24:40 Heat 2
