How To Fix 1/2" Hydraulic Couplers | Everything You Need To Know

I did take these off the JD400 since I noticed one or the other was leaking quite a bit. These older garden tractors have usually 4 of them either on the front or the back of the tractor and over time, the main ball-bearing will start to leak for various reasons. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share with you, how hydraulic couplers work, how hydraulic couplers look in a disassembled state, and how to fix them. Yes, you can buy new ones, but when you take into consideration that all the internal parts can be swapped, you might find it easier to fix them for less money, than to buy new ones!
