Someone Else's Son

Abuse comes in many forms. it what you do to heal that makes all the difference. Some scars don't come from fists. Some come from words. From fear. From years spent learning how to survive in a place that should have felt safe. "Someone Else's Son" isn't a song about revenge. It's about the day a frightened little boy realized he wasn't afraid anymore. It's about surviving what was done to you without becoming what hurt you. It's about discovering that real strength isn't violence. Real strength is having every reason to hate and choosing to keep walking anyway. To anyone carrying wounds from a childhood they didn't deserve: You were somebody's son. You were somebody's daughter. What happened to you was never your fault. And the people who hurt you don't get to decide who you become. This one is for the survivors. — The Raven Roadhouse
