While listening to Pedro Rubalcava giving a talk, Jesse was struck by Pedro’s thought, “God’s house isn’t holy because all are welcome. God’s house is holy because all belong. “ Jesse started writing the song from there. Co-written with Jesse’s daughter, Jennah, this new song of welcome is catching on very quickly in parishes across America. The song was written as a way to encourage communities to embody the compassion of Jesus, who welcomed the stranger, the outcast, the forgotten, and those who seek peace. “You are not alone, for you are God’s own!” The song focuses on hospitality and welcome, which is our foundation of faith, the welcoming and the inviting of the most vulnerable. It asks us to be charitable, to be welcoming, to be encouraging.  "All are welcome in this place, behold love’s amazing grace, all are welcome.
