It’s job is to turn the vertical motion of the pistons into rotational motion that will ultimately turn the wheels! The crankshaft will be sitting on something called the crankcase. The crankcase job is to surround the crankshaft and to be a block that a lot of other engine part will attach to. This video is just a entry level to crankcase and crankshaft.
