As part of the City of Oldenburg's new Noise Action Plan, a 30 km/h speed limit was introduced on many main roads as of December 14, 2025. To maintain punctuality, VWG had to completely restructure the network. Line 323 was split into two new lines: Southern Branch (Krusenbusch – ZOB): This section of the old 323 was linked with the northern branch of the former Line 324 (Ostring). This new connection is now called Line 303. Northern Branch (Wahnbek – ZOB): The route from Wahnbek via Ohmstede to the Central Bus Station (ZOB) was merged with the former Line 302 (Borchersweg). This new continuous connection is numbered Line 305.
