I have my surface tilted to 35 degrees. I use a variety of brands of brushes. I mainly stick to a large mop, medium round and smaller synthetic brush with a point. Here are the list of pigments on my palette: Burnt Sienna Cadmium Red Cadmium Yellow Medium Cerulean Blue Cobalt Blue Cobalt Teal Blue Cobalt Turquoise Lavender Neutral Tint Payne's Gray Quinacridone Gold Raw Sienna Raw Sienna Light Raw Umber Rose Madder Permanent Ultramarine Blue 🖌️About Me: I’ve taught thousands of people how to paint watercolor - empty-nesters pursuing a new hobby, people in the corporate world seeking an artistic outlet, retirees starting their next chapter, and many others! Creating art is a powerful experience; it’s a profound way to process, celebrate, and appreciate the world around us. And I love sharing this with students. I was drawn to watercolor for its loose effect, the softness created by the intermingling colors on the paper, and the unique light-to-dark method of painting it requires. Watercolor doesn’t allow you to obsess over a particular painting too long; it presses you forward - onto the next - and it’s invigorating to surrender to its steady, persistent flow. My work has been featured in exhibits in Italy, China, and Spain. I was a featured artist on the Tate’s online impressionists series, won the 2017 Big Picnic Plein Air Competition held at the Nelson Atkins Museum, and have had several paintings accepted into the Kansas Watercolor Society Exhibition as well as other organizations around the world. You can learn from me in one of my courses, in my subscription-based Watercolor Community, or even go on an artist’s retreat with me! It brings me great joy to share the creative experience with students who also see the beauty in everyday, ordinary scenes. 🖌️Channel Tags: #watercolor #painting #MatthewWhite #learntopaintwatercolor #watercolortutorial
