FOOD REVIEW: Tonkatsu Curry from Kaz Teriyaki Grill in San Mateo

This was a nice find for us! We were originally going to a Taiwanese bento place, but due to their lackluster advertising, we decided to try another place we'd walked by on the way that looked pretty good. As we suspected, this place was quite good! I got the tonkatsu curry, which I've been really wanting to try recently. It was really good, the curry was like a stew with potatoes and carrots in it, and it was served atop rice, with some chopped pickled radish which was fine but I don't think added much. The pork cutlet itself was where the most improvements could be made. It wasn't as tender as it could have been. This place also has no indoor seating, but there are benches directly outside which is convenient. If you're looking for a quick and filling stop, or want to get takeout, I'd recommend this place!
