Q50 Q60 DIY Transmission Fluid Change | Carbon Forged Caps Giveaway

Here is a quick video of a do-it-yourself transmission fluid change (not a flush) using the OEM Nissan Matic S fluid following medianJoe's procedure. It was pretty straightforward. If you'd like to keep track of the amount of fluid that comes out let it pour into the drain pan and pour the fluid into an empty 5-quart motor oil jug. Those jugs have a way to measure fluids up to 5 quarts. That way you can be absolutely sure of the amount of fluid that drained out, but 3 qt's is what drains. *For anyone wondering if they should cycle through the gears after each fill. I did cycle through the gears, but I didn’t demonstrate that in the video because I didn’t want to change Mediansjoes procedure on his write-up. That’s what I did on my GTR and I did on the Q50 as well. You do that on your own risk though. You will find that the fluid is still a bit dark when you cycle through the gears. It will require more than 12 QTs to see it clean.
