NR73 broken down at Picton + Pacific National freight on the main south line

And follow me on instagram 📸   / alexs_train_channel   Whilst on holidays in the Illawarra I took a trip over to Picton, situated on the main south line. During the day I filmed some of the regular Endeavour passenger services and also managed to film some freight. By chance NR73 had failed on an up Limestone train, and was stranded at Picton Station for over an hour. A maintenance team from Port Kembla had to be sent over to perform some on the spot repairs. This gave me a chance to get up close along side NR73 whilst it was in the station, which you will see in the video. Also in the video you will see two NR's on 2PS6 headed for Sydney from Perth and 2134N cement train headed by 8116. Filmed Thursday 5/10/17 I hope you enjoy!
