In each 60- second Teamwork Challenge match, two robots collaborate to move and score Bean Bags into various Goals, aiming to reach the highest levels possible for maximum points. Gameplay Objectives • Scoring Objects: The primary game elements are 3" x 4" rectangular Bean Bags (Red, Blue, and Yellow) . • Reaching New Heights: Robots must lift or place Bean Bags into Goals of varying heights. There are Floor Goals, multi-level Pyramid Goals (Levels 1-3) , and high Center Platforms (Level 4) . • Color Matching: Teams must place Red and Blue Bean Bags into their matching colored Goals. Yellow Bean Bags are "wild" and can be scored in any Goal. • Possession Limit: Robots are strictly limited to holding only one Bean Bag at a time, requiring efficient cycling across the field. Scoring System • Floor Goal: 1point. • Level 1 (Pyramid) ： 3 points. • Level 2 (Pyramid) ： 6 points. • Level 3 (Pyramid) ： 12 points. • Level 4 (Center Platform) ：16 points. • Note: The Level 4 platforms are 24 inches tall and specifically designed for high- risk, high-reward plays. Additional Rules & Strategy • Navigation & Shortcuts: The field is divided by 8-inch tall fences. Robots small enough to drive under these fences can take a "shortcut" to save time, while larger robots must take the longer path around. • Robot Skills Challenge: Teams compete individually in Driving Skills Matches (driver- controlled) and Autonomous Coding Skills Matches to maximize their score solo. • Strategic Play: Teams must decide between building a small, fast robot that can use shortcuts or a larger, taller robot capable of reaching the lucrative Level 4 center platforms.
