A 400km one-way trip from Sapporo, a whopping 1000km round trip including detours—an incredible day trip! I happened to stop by Nakashibetsu, Hokkaido, for another reason, and discovered a miraculous Showa-era treasure: "Poppy Toy Shop." Opening the door to the castle-like exterior, I found myself in a Showa-era space where time seemed to stand still. Unbelievably, brand-new, unused retro games and incredibly nostalgic toys were sleeping there in miraculous condition…!
