In this episode, we repeatedly go back and forth between our conscience and logic while trying to manage our limited resources. While searching for an honest answer to Karin's question, "Why don't they love me?" we are also looking for ways to keep our home warm and our stomachs full during cold winter days. Every choice made, every word spoken determines what kind of adult Karin will be in the future and whether she will trust the world. In this process, where innocence goes through such a heavy test, I feel the weight of my decisions to the core. Shaping Karin’s fragile world and being a safe harbor she can take refuge in has been much harder than I thought. In this episode, we painfully see once again that the true destructive effect of war is hidden not on the battlefields, but in the traces it leaves in a child's dreams. On this path I took to protect that rare smile on her face, we continue to determine Karin's fate together.
