Making eye contact with your dog is a great way to bond. This is also a healthy exercise for those of us who have PTSD (& other traumas) because eye contact can become difficult for us. I did a little research on PTSD & eye contact avoidance & apparently, it's pretty common. This is also common among those of us with autism.
