Tri-lam Bow 1 - Parts & Glue Up
Starting a tri-lam bow project. This is in the vein of an old school Hill-style bow but with a twist: the grip… Since Hill style bows have a signature grip to them, I will not be referring to this bow as a “Hill” style, but a lot of the rest of the construction will follow that style of build. My goal with this bow is to explore the design options for a laminated bow grip that eliminates the worry of a riser block popping off due to bend-through-the-grip concerns that come with laminations that do not “ramp up” to the glue line at the fades near the grip - since even that method is not 100% fool proof. Follow along as I capitalize on the use of power-lams in this project - there will be more than one… Follow me on: Instagram: / meadowlarkbows Facebook: / meadowlarkbows http://meadowlarkag.com
