We were pleasantly surprised by our first flight with China Airlines! The value for money was excellent: friendly staff, good service, good food and great baggage allowance - 2 x 23 kg baggage were included in our Basic Economy fare. Taipei was just a stopover, the final stop was Sydney. Although we booked only six weeks before departure, we paid “only” 1,082 EUR for the return ticket to Down Under. At Qatar and Emirates it cost more than double. In addition, we treated ourselves to a seat with legroom by the emergency exit for EUR 150 per person. This investment had definitely paid off.
