Our tour begins at Friedrichstraße, not far from the Spree. After crossing the river, we follow Schiffbauerdamm, a bustling promenade lined with numerous restaurants, bars, and waterfront terraces. Along the way, we pass the famous "Berliner Ensemble"—one of Germany's most renowned theaters, founded by the legendary playwright Bertolt Brecht. Nearby, you will also spot the iconic Trabant, affectionately known as the "people's car" of the former GDR. We follow the course of the Spree, enjoying views of sightseeing boats, charming hidden riverside cafés, and one of Berlin's most picturesque pedestrian routes, before arriving at Museum Island. The magnificent Bode Museum marks the northern tip of Museum Island and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its impressive Neo-Baroque architecture creates one of the most photographed views along the river. The walk continues through Monbijou Park—a quiet green oasis in the heart of Berlin—and concludes at the lively Hackescher Markt, one of the city's most popular spots for shopping, cafés, restaurants, and authentic Berlin flair.
