The University of Delaware Percussion Studio - A Gear Tour

Gear tour is back, and Steve Weiss Music had the opportunity to check out one of the largest University Percussion Collections in the United States, while touring the facilities at the University of Delaware School of Music in Newark, Delaware. This prestigious percussion program is under the co-direction of Dr. Gene Koshinski, and Dr. Tim Broscious, who compile the Quey Percussion Duo, and serve as artists in residence at the University. Additionally, Jim Ancona serves as the Assistant Director of Athletic Bands, rounding out an all star faculty with a diverse program of performance options for both Undergraduate and Graduate level students. Their facilities boast over 3000 sq. feet of dedicated percussion space, and house everything from vintage drum set and orchestral drums, to authentic percussion instruments from every corner of the world.
