El Chaltén en 4K: 9 días de trekking en el paraíso (Fitz Roy, Laguna de los Tres)

On this trip through a beautiful part of Argentina, we decided to discover the beautiful landscapes of El Chalten. You can follow us at:   / franm_life     / chinah_o   Flying drones of any kind is PROHIBITED on each of the trails because they are nature reserves, and this can damage the local ecosystem. We stayed at Cóndor de los Andes as a base.   / hostelcondordelosandes   As soon as you arrive, I recommend visiting the National Parks office to learn more about the area. Tours: DAY 1 -Chorrillo del Salto Trail: Distance: 3 kilometers (one way) Difficulty: Easy It will take you to a beautiful waterfall where you can enjoy stunning views and relax in a natural setting. Remember to bring enough water and follow the trail signs to ensure a safe experience. DAY 2 -Los Cóndores Viewpoint Trail: Distance: 1.5 kilometers (one way) Difficulty: Easy -Las Águilas Viewpoint Trail: Distance: 2.5 kilometers (one way) Difficulty: Moderate Both trails offer stunning panoramic views of El Chaltén's landscapes. Day 3 -Laguna Torre Trail: Distance: 9 kilometers (one way) Difficulty: Moderate During the hike, you'll enjoy stunning landscapes and glaciers, and finally, you'll reach the beautiful Laguna Torre, where you can appreciate the majesty of Cerro Torre and its glacier. Day 4 Capri Lagoon Trail: Distance: 3.5 kilometers (one way) Difficulty: Easy to moderate During the hike, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Capri Lagoon itself is a beautiful lake surrounded by stunning scenery. There's a campsite if you want to spend the night and continue the next day to Laguna de los Tres (it's a rustic campsite, so you should bring everything you need from El Chaltén). Day 6 Laguna de los Tres Trail: Distance: 10 kilometers (one way) Difficulty: High The trail to Laguna de los Tres is one of the most challenging and popular trails in El Chaltén. The difficulty is considered high due to the steep, rocky terrain and altitude. It shares the same trail with the Capri trail, and the last few kilometers are the most difficult. Day 7 -Desert Lake: Distance: Approximately 37 kilometers from El Chaltén Difficulty: Easy (access by vehicle) -Huemul Glacier: Distance: Varies depending on the route Difficulty: Moderate The Huemul Glacier is a private hike, but it's definitely worth it for the scenery and the rewards at the end. Don't forget to bring food to enjoy the scenery. Day 8 -Electric River Trail: Distance: 7 kilometers (one way) Difficulty: Moderate to High To begin this trail, you must take a transfer to the trailhead because it's located outside of town. However, the difficulty is certainly much less than going from town because it starts at a higher elevation. At the Poisenot campsite, it joins the main trailhead, where the difficult part of the climb begins.
