Kirkpatrick Building Elevators

These are the elevators at the Kirkpatrick Building in St. Joseph, Missouri. One has been modernized, the other still requires a operator. I remember when I was a kid, I used to have to go to this building to see my doctor. My Grandmother used to have to hold my hand because there was not a inside door on these elevators, so you could just reach out and touch the wall as it went by! (Like I used to do)
