Spirit X Strike is a new character action game from solo independent developer MAICHA STUDIO. It takes a lot of inspiration from all the classics in the genre, but it probably leans heaviest towards Devil May Cry than anything else. You have three different combat styles you can switch between whenever you want, and the combat is very fast paced and fun. I was given an opportunity from the Spirit X Strike Team to work on a sponsored video for the game's upcoming Early Access launch, so I played through it many times so I could show off the game as well as I could. There's already a roadmap for the Early Access release, which is planned to last for eight months. During that time, they will be adding two additional chapters, an Arcade/Challenge mode, and a Bloody Palace-esque combat arena. There's a demo on Steam right now if you want to try it out for yourself, or you can just buy the game outright, as it's quite cheap at only $12.99.
