EARLY DREAMS AND MEMORIES AWAKEN THE SOUL

The wonder of working with dreams and early memories is they give us a pathway into truth that might otherwise take years of meditation These dreams and memories show us whether our child self was moving into a greater trust of life, or relinquishing parts of our souls to fit into our family climate. As time goes on in our journey, we become clear. We make friends with our instinctual energy and trust the guidance coming from our heart, enough to follow it inside our lifetimes. We are no longer coming from our heads; we are deepening into our hearts. Joseph Campbell describes the hero's journey in his book: The Hero With A Thousand Faces. The spiritual journey is also very similar to the hero's journey. It requires courage, strength, discernment, and the humble but trusting openness that a child has. Indeed, the path from the head to the heart can be long and lonely, but so worth it. When we live from our hearts, the great Indian saint Amma says, life becomes a celebration!
