Тренінг присвячений наданню допомоги постраждалим під час надзвичайних ситуацій
A comprehensive approach to trauma care, primary and secondary assessment of patients, modern approaches to treating traumatic injuries for patients of all ages — these key topics formed the basis of a three-day TDTR (Trauma and Disaster Team Response) training course designed to teach participants how to provide assistance to victims during emergencies. A separate focus was placed on safety of medical personnel at the scene and teamwork. A full day was also devoted to emergency ultrasound diagnostics (POCUS) — a course that facilitates rapid decision-making by medical professionals in emergency situations. With the support of Project HOPE, these training sessions for emergency medical personnel in the Kharkiv region are conducted by trainers from the All-Ukrainian Resuscitation Council. At the request of the Kharkiv Emergency Medical Care Center, the training was attended not only by doctors, but also by paramedics and interns specializing in emergency medicine. They work in the hottest spots of the city — where shelling continues and help is needed immediately. The EACAP project was made possible by the generous support of the American people.
