2008 8th Gen Honda Civic LX Sedan Review

130k miles and drives like new! *Update - 3 years and 20k miles later (around 150k now - didn't put on a ton of miles due to Covid) and this car has given me zero problems! Drives amazing and seems like it's going to keep running for a long time! *Update - 5 years and 40k miles later (around 170k now). Still zero issues. Just once a year oil changes with fully synthetic high mileage oil. I also do transmission drain and fills every 35k (CarFax showed this was done every 35k since it was new, which is great). My AC system has had a small leak for a few years. I now top it up myself with a $12 can of refrigerant once a year at the beginning of summer (and I only have to use about 1/4 to 1/2 the can; a small can is lasting me 2 years). If the leak gets worse I'll look into fixing it, but so far it's held steady for 3 or 4 summers. I park in a garage on a clean slab of concrete. There has never been a single leak of any fluid on the ground!
