How to Teach Sharing in 3 Stages

Name what was good. "Good trading." Stage 2. Teach to trade with different items Follow same steps Stage 3. Teach Taking turns or sharing with one item Count or use a timer for some toddlers that are really resistant Start with a few seconds and then lengthen it. Reward! Name what was good.. “good taking turns”... "good sharing.” Fade out the timer. Sharing doesn’t make sense to a toddler. It doesn’t come naturally.
