50' FEET DEEP in the LANDFILL! Disposing of Asbestos ⚠️

We took advantage of the new landfill cell for an asbestos disposal job. Rolando's on the Volvo 290 excavator, and this was the perfect time for us to build a new landfill ramp down to the cell so we can properly dispose of these hazardous materials. If you like heavy equipment, please subscribe to the Mr. DiGG channel:    / @therealmrdigg   Why Are We Handling ASBESTOS? In this video, he asbestos job came about when an old textile mill was recently being demoed. (Back in the day, asbestos was used as a fire retardant build material back in the day, before it was realized to be a majorly hazardous cancer-causing material.) This type of asbestos is referred to as friable asbestos. Friable means that the asbestos can easily be crushed, crumbled, pulverized or turned to powder with the ordinary force of a human hand. We'll also look at some cool geological rock deposits down here in the sand - because I love geology! Thanks for watching! #landfill #heavyequipment #asbestos #excavator
