Bass Guitar Project Hardware Build Headless Conversion

Part 2 of my Headless vs. Headstock Bass Guitar Experiment. Which of the two construction types has advantages and disadvantages when it comes to sound and playability. Welcome to a slightly different Video on my Luthier Workshop Channel. I was alway curious about the Sound differences between Headless and Headstock Instruments not just on Basses also on Guitars. So I decided to cut off the Headstock of my Handmade Bass that I have build 10 years a go to answer this question for myself. In this Part 2 Video you can follow the process how I construct a build a massiv brass Headpiece from scratch and change the Bridge to fine Tune Mono Rail bridges to make this Bass tune able and playable again. As a Luthier it's not just about woodworking you have to work with quite different Materials and this is one part of the job that I really enjoy. My Favorite Metalls are copper and brass.
