EXPANSION INFORMATION Alaska, also known as the Last Frontier and the Land of the Midnight Sun, is a land of untamed and irresistible nature. The Yukon Valley is a true paradise for experienced hunters and conservationists striving to preserve the delicate balance of the local ecosystem under the watchful eye of game warden Jim Murray. Visitors to the valley will be treated to breathtaking views: hills covered in crimson moss, snow-capped peaks ringing the preserve, and much more. FAUNA OF THE YUKON VALLEY The colorful biomes of the preserve's valley are home to equally colorful animals. You'll encounter prairie bison, caribou, and moose grazing peacefully in the warm morning sun. If you're careful and quiet, you can sneak up on shy red foxes and harlequins. However, try to avoid the grizzly bears that inhabit the valley—they may perceive you as a threat and attack at any moment. Walk through the preserve at night, and you might hear a pack of gray wolves howling at the moon. LUXURIOUS AND VULTURED FLORA The Yukon Valley is considered one of the most picturesque places on Earth, its incredible landscapes complemented by the region's rich history. Every corner of the preserve is filled with color and life, from the lush spruce forests to the red foothills of the mountains. However, the local weather has a knack for surprises – snowfall can begin in the valley at any moment.
