Install a mounting post for your retractable hose

You can install a mounting post for your retractable hose. You will need a piece of pressure treated 4x4 wood cut to your desired length a drill a bag of concrete some scrap 2x4s a level a shovel or post hole digger a philips head screwdriver or a 7/16 socket wrench I chose to replace the philips head screws that come with the Hoselink with the same size screws but with heads that use a socket wrench to tighten. I dug my hole 8-10 inches deep and cut a piece of 4x4 to 47 inches. This has my post 37 inches above the ground. You can decide what height works for you. I also stained my 4x4 so that it will last longer. I have 4 Hoselink retractable hoses. One for each spigot around my house.
