O que é Camber caster convergência divergência cambagem positiva negativa nula entenda animação
Camber: This is the vertical, longitudinal alignment of the wheel in relation to the car, as in the drawing below. Camber can be zero (0°), negative, or positive. Zero (0°): Incorrect, because with weight and speed, the values tend to change, making camber positive and thus reducing tread contact with the road. Negative -: True, but with a limit. Negative camber improves handling and provides more grip in corners. However, when it is too negative, it causes internal tire wear. This is better because with weight and speed, camber tends to be zero, ensuring full tread contact with the road. Positive +: Incorrect, because it provides less grip because the wheel will always have a smaller contact area with the road. It also causes premature wear on the outside of the tire and discomfort in handling. Toe-in: This is the horizontal, longitudinal alignment in relation to the car, as in the drawing below. Toe-in can be zero (0°), positive (toe-out), and negative (toe-in). Zero (0°): Incorrect, because as the car moves, the wheels naturally tend to assume a divergent configuration. Convergent: Correct, because when the car is moving, tending to assume a divergent configuration, it will be zero (0°), ensuring complete alignment of the wheels with the road. Divergent: Incorrect, because when the car is moving, it will become even more divergent, practically braking the car. Caster: This is the angle of the wheel in relation to the longitudinal axis of the car, as shown in the diagram below, and can be zero (0°), positive, or negative. Generally, regular cars do not have this adjustment; it is for information only. Zero (0°): No effect for normal street cars. Positive: The wheel points forward, generally used in off-road applications because it absorbs impact better. Notice the front wheel of off-road motorcycles; they face forward. Negative: Not used.
