Freight train day on the Colne Valley Railway with freight and passenger workings - 14th April 2024

See the Colne Valley Railway from the lineside and both freight and passenger trains providing an in depth coverage of both the railway and stock on the railway. We see Andrew Barclay 0-6-0ST 2138 "Swordfish" in steam and Class 03 D2041 operating the passenger and freight trains and Wardle Restorations Ruston & Hornsby 88DS which previously operated at Warrington gas works, on brake van duties. A wide variety of locos and rolling stock including a collection of High Speed Train stock with 5 power cars on site and regular running days.
