1990's Kyosho GP Ultima RB ground up restoration

Bought on eBay with no engine, full of wood screws and bent in the middle, its taken months to put back together as the availability of parts is pretty much zero for this model in 2023. I'm pleased with the way it turned out and as a Kyosho fan it has been a pleasure to add this one to the collection. I didn't want to paint it silver like the box art either so in the end I decided on Tamiya PS18 purple. The damaged wheels were lightly re-cut in my lathe to take off the chewed rims and many missing parts were also produced on my hobby lathe. The body was eventually polished with Meguiars colour restorer for car bodywork as it lightly cuts and polishes and leaves a nice shine to the plastic. I hope you like the end result!
