No 311 - Slow Living On The Allotment
Super Relaxed Day At The Plot! Today was another productive day on the allotment. I had a look at the fantastic progress being made on the community room makeover by some of the committee members—it's really starting to come together. In the garden, I harvested my shallots and checked over the rest of the crops. Unfortunately, I'm still losing the battle with my carrots, as the germination has been very poor. On a much brighter note, I was pleasantly surprised to see my outdoor melons thriving far better than I expected. I also pruned back the leaves on my tomato plants to improve airflow and let more light reach the fruit. My sweet peppers are looking incredibly healthy, and I'm really pleased with how the mashed potato squash is developing. To top it all off, my Ailsa Craig onions are swelling up nicely, so there's plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks. #allotment #allotmentlife #growyourownfood #gardening #greenhouse #wellbeing #diy #tomatoes #slowliving
