Orphaned Mr. Whiskers Takes His Dummy
Sadly in Australia many flying-foxes are orphaned each year through numerous causes. Mr. Whiskers mother was electrocuted on over head power lines and although most babies escape injury following the electrocution of their mother, Mr. Whisker sustained some burns on his leg. Following treatment the burns healed up nicely and in no way impeded Mr. Whiskers flight ability. We give our babies dummies or pacifiers to replicate mums nipple and this provides our orphans with comfort and a sense of security. www.facebook.com/BatzillatheBat/
