Arcy Drive - 'The Itch' (Acoustic) Live from Jenny

Arcy Drive - 'The Itch' live from the bus Jenny is our beautifully gritty school bus we bought two years ago before we had any music out. We spent the whole month of March ripping out all 30 seats, building bunk beds, painting, and throwing in an old boat couch. Our plan was to spend 2 months on the road, playing our songs for anyone that would listen and see first hand if anybody dug them. Within 2 days of our first “tour” we found out that our girl Jenny was pretty damn broken. She couldn’t drive over 45 MPH, didn’t have AC and howled an alarm that would only shut off if we followed the directions on the dashboard, “Pull over and Regenerate”. We had to “regenerate” her every couple hours, which stopped the alarm and eventually earned her the name “Jenny”. Flash forward 2 years, Jenny is zipping around the highways like nothing ever happened. Everywhere we go she accumulates little memories on the inside walls, like stickers, banners, pictures, pizza boxes, etc. aging her like fiiiiine wiiine. We thought it could be cool to record these videos with her to celebrate finishing our first album. Our first album is recorded and will have a live acoustic vid to go along with each tune on it. We could not be more excited to show you all this project. To the first of many, cheeeers!! 'The Itch' (Lyrics) Stone man’s days like a rolling wave, It goes on and cannot break It’s a fat stone to be skipping, with one foot in the quicksand Well all his friends have the itch as well, some lost, some cannot tell, well Too young to be working, and too old to be bitching And there ain’t no use in knowing what to do or when… Because we’ll never know how And we’ll never not care Started weirding me out Are we really all there? But don’t act confused, I stand by you Tossing our youth, are we really all there? Never not care But we’re happy as hell A rained out show and a borrowed van, off to a cheap hotel We all got stoned just to sneak in, they left fruit in the kitchen And all my friends got the itch as well, take, take, to please yourself It’s a fat stone to be skipping, with one foot as we kick Because we’ll never know how And we’ll never not care Started weirding me out Are we really all there? But don’t act confused, I stand by you Tossing our youth, are we really all there? Never not care But we’re happy as hell The car, the couch, the floor, the shame To call around a place to stay Caught pissing in a parking space Cop’s listen I’m a waste away And we’ll never not care Started weirding me out Are we really all there? But don’t act confused, I stand by you Tossing our youth, are we really all there? Never not care But we’re happy as hell Directed by Patrick Linehan Cam Op: Alex Smithline Gaffer: Luis Lopez
