Alex Kemp rushed to his aid with tourniquets and dressings to stem the catastrophic bleeding. Almost a decade later Andy spotted a Facebook post from Alex, who had since suffered chronic PTSD and become homeless. Andy was then able to return the favour and save the man who had saved his life, by helping Alex find his feet again.
