Pollería y chicharronería atendían a clientes en pésimas condiciones en SJL

Health inspection personnel from the municipality of San Juan de Lurigancho (SJL) conducted a surprise health inspection in the district, finding that many restaurants did not meet the necessary conditions for serving customers. One of the establishments found to have unsanitary conditions was the chicken restaurant "El Palacio del Pollo," where authorities discovered containers in extremely poor condition for storing food, as well as improper handling of products. Health personnel found oil and other essential ingredients for rotisserie chicken stored in unsuitable containers. They also identified deficiencies in the cleanliness of the premises and the presence of cockroaches. BEWARE OF PORK RINDS Another establishment inspected was the pork rind restaurant "Huanquita," owned by Víctor César Soto Solís. During the inspection, Soto Solís, allegedly intoxicated, attempted to assault the "Dilo Fuerte" press staff covering the operation, as well as the district's health officials. Health authorities found that the polar compounds in the oil exceeded the permitted limit of 25% for reuse, a serious violation that endangers the health of diners. The establishment was closed and fined 200% of a Tax Unit (UIT).
