In this Video, Dr Nitisha shares about Post Partum Depression in India through her Post Partum Depression Stories. Dr. Nitisha Oza is the first and only lady psychiatrist at Jamnagar, doing her private practice for the last 11 years. Born & Schooled in a Rajasthani family. She did her M.B.B.S completed M. D psychiatry from in Gujarat. Dr. Nitisha is a post-partum depression survivor herself. Born and brought up in a Rajasthani family and married in a traditional Gujarati family she considers it a life-changing experience. This made her develop a deep interest in observing and hearing stories about how culture influences a person’s behavior. For the last two years, she is fighting a rare and serious lung illness post covid. This lead to change her perspective towards life. She describes it as her “second birth”. She is currently trying to connect the dots by researching various topics such as past life regression, near-death experiences, automatic writing, ancient scriptures and theta meditation. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
