Lauren Laverne interviews award winning screen writer Russell T Davies and packs him off to the desert island but before he goes, he regales us with a whistle stop tour of his life, his influences, his loves and his loses. Very much a sincere interview with Lauren who manages to get Russell to bare all in this interview. He talks about how he dealt with his bereavement after losing his partner and his love of Dr Who and writing for TV.
