"ලංකාවෙ උසින්ම තියෙන සීතල වෙච්ච හුදකලා තැන්නක, හිරිපොද වැස්සක් වැටෙද්දි කූඩාරම් දොරෙන් එලිය බලාගෙන ඉන්න ඕනම කෙනෙක්ට සොබාදහම එක්ක සමවැදෙන්න පුලුවන්. ඒක ඇත්තටම භාවනාවක්... සංචාරයකට එහා ගිය නිදහසේ භාවනාවක්." අපි හෝර්ටන්තැන්නට එද්දි ඔහියෙ ඉදන්ම වැස්සත් ආවා අපි එක්කම සීතල හෝර්ටන්තැන්නට යාලුකමේ උනුසුම අරගෙන. කඩින් කඩ වැටුන හිරිපොද වැස්ස මැද්දෙම කූඩාරම අටව ගත්තා ඇදිරි වැටෙන්නට මත්තෙන් තැන්නේ තියෙන සුන්දරත්වය නිදහසේ විද ගන්න. කූඩාරම් තුනකින් ගොඩනැගුණු මහ වැලි තැන්නේ කදවුරු භූමිය සැබැවින්ම සීතල මාලිගාවක් අක්කර හත්දහසක සීතල තැන්නටම තිබුණ. රෑ භෝ වෙත්ම සිතල සහ ගමන් මහන්සිය එක්ක ආපු බඩගින්න හැමෝටම දැනුනා එකම අයුරින්ම. හැමදාම පරිප්පුයි බතුයි කාලා කැලෑ රෑ ගෙවපු කංඩායමට හම්බුනා රස කෑම වේලක් දැනුත් උනනවා කටට කෙල. ගල් යුගයේ මානවයා තෙක් ඇදී ගිය අතීතයේ මහ වැලි තැන්න ගැන තිබුණු ලොකු කුතුහලය ටිකක් හරි අඩු කලා ගත කරපු දවස් තුන්. දැනුම් රස සොයා යන, අතීතය කියා දෙන, වෙලාවක් තිබුනොතින් රූප පෙළ නරඹන්න මේ සොයා ඇදෙන්නේ නොවෙනස්ම ඉසව්වක. ආයුබෝවන් මම දීනේෂ් - DAP Elevation of 6,900–7,500 ft above sea level Horton Plains is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. This cloud forest was named a natural world heritage site by UNESCO in 2010. Horton Plains offers the most breathtaking trails surrounded by lush green wild grasses and Sri Lanka’s flora and fauna. Moreover, natural attractions and views, such as Baker’s Falls and the World’s End precipice, increase the value of biological interest. Horton Plains is rich in Biodiversity. This is the reason for many scientists do their research over here. There are three main trails in Horton Plains which are trail leads to Kirigalpoththa, Thorupola Kanda, and third is a circular trail that includes World’s End Precipice, and Baker’s Falls waterfall. In this video, we have camped at Horton Plains camping site with proper government permission. Also, it is a special vlog, as we invited Wild Cookbook ( Charith De Silva ) to join us.
