Zuid-Soedan: hulpverlenen op de dunne lijn van leven en dood | Rode Kruis

South Sudan is known as both the youngest and one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Civil war, shootings, and natural disasters have gripped the country. Our aid workers are doing everything they can to help people in the country. Aidah, born and raised in South Sudan, takes us on a tour of the country. We visit the hospital run by the Red Cross, where we meet Grace: a dedicated nurse who left everything behind in Kenya to help in South Sudan. We also speak with Gabriel and Hosina, who have been victims of armed violence. In the series "Crossing Borders," we visit our colleagues around the world to see how they work and live in the most difficult circumstances. What is it like to live in one of the most dangerous countries in the world? To see your village disappear due to climate change? Or to leave all safety behind to help others? To find out, we travel to these places and speak with our Red Cross colleagues. 👉 Subscribe to our channel now: rodekru.is/4nTAQRY Welcome to the YouTube channel of the Netherlands Red Cross.
