Being "Slain In The Spirit" Is NOT Biblical
Being Slain in the Spirit is a practice that has become fairly main stream but its nowhere to be found in the bible. Jesus never did it to his disciples, the disciples never did it to the early Christians. The bible never even mentions this bizarre practice of laying hands on someone so that they fall down backwards. It's quite a strange phenomena that is widely practiced but not found anywhere in the bible. But the practice is found in heathen religions like Hinduism and Shamanism etc. Often times people pray for revival and long for an outpouring but what they are really wanting is this extra biblical practice of being slain in the spirit.
