Qor-High Chroma Set/Swatches, Color Mixing Chart & Portrait

Swatches: 3:58 , 14:01 color mixing chart, 16:16 portrait using only these colors. Loved playing with this set, but not overly excited about this set on it's own. I honestly like more predictable colors so I know how to use them. That said, this is why I do these tests, so I can figure out how to use these colors best. I do enjoy these colors individually and am glad to have all 3 Qor sets now so that I can use them to the maximum ability -all together. ~This was my Qor set to review, the High Chroma Set. Saving the most vibrant for last. This Introductory set is also vibrant and a perfect set for mixing. You can get a wide range of colors from these 6. Golden created the concept of watercolors within their company around the 80's and a decade later they were on the shelves as a new product called Qor watercolors. Their selling point is that they are highly saturated color extended in a binder that is called Aquazol, instead of gum arabic. The Aquazol is a clear liquid and doesn't stain over time and is an excellent binder for pigment. They're still in testing phase with the ASTM (ASTM International is an international standards organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services) so they have done their own tests on lightfastness and grade them a bit differently, EX for excellent, GD for good, and FR for fair.
