Heart Shaped Wood, Cumbria

The Heart Shaped Wood is situated between Lowgill and Roundtwaite Cumbria, just off the M6 and near the River Lune. Some say a guy planted the trees for his wife to show her how much he loved her, some say he planted them for his late wife after her passing, all I know is the Farmer feeding his sheep in the video called "Norman" told me a landslide created the shape over a hundred years ago. I going to go with the local knowledge explanation. Thanks for keeping me company Norman on a cold winters afternoon. I'm proud like you to be a Cumbrian. We live in a very special place.
