Trekking Accident Exposes Brutal Murder Plot By Fiancée At Maharashtra Fort

An investigation into a fatal fall at Maharashtra's historic Lohgad Fort has revealed a carefully planned murder conspiracy. Initially treated as a tragic trekking accident, a twenty-six-year-old businessman died after falling into a three-hundred-and-fifty-foot gorge days before his birthday and upcoming wedding. Police investigations, prompted by inconsistencies in statements, uncovered that the victim's fiancée allegedly conspired with another man to push him off the cliff. Authorities reviewed internet records, call logs, and surveillance footage, which placed the alleged accomplice at the fort wearing a hoodie. Investigators discovered the fiancée allegedly wanted to avoid the arranged marriage to continue a secret relationship. The investigation also revealed a prior failed attempt at the fort and a deliberately canceled trip to Bali after a passport was intentionally destroyed. The case shares similarities with another recent incident in Meghalaya, where a honeymoon trip ended in a planned murder.
