"when hatred, prejudice & indifference are left unchecked" - Stroud Holocaust Memorial 2026

From 2-3pm 25th January 2026 Community Solidarity Stroud District held our annual Holocaust Memorial Day event at Lansdown Hall. This 5 minute summary of the event was filmed and edited by by Minke Clark-Phillips, Tania Griffin, Elliot Cross and Harrison Gibson – all students at the University of Gloucestershire. Julia Berg, a freelance producer and member of Community Solidarity Stroud District provided guidance. Producer Minke Clark-Philips said: "It was a pleasure to be invited to film and put together a short film of the Stroud Holocaust Memorial Day. As young filmmakers, we are always looking for ways we can share strong messages within our films, especially when it comes to social and global issues. Having the responsibility of producing a film that highlights the very importance of the event was an honour, so we want to thank everyone involved for being so welcoming and accommodating."
