Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 20JULY2026

This morning's California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0545 MST (departed On Schedule). Ric had P42s #188 & #146 power the 9-car consist to a stop with car 8 to the station platform just west of the ramp for 1 detraining traveler. There were no new fares today. With the station work safely completed, the departure order was given and on a clear signal, Ric ramped up the amps to the traction motors moving the Zephyr west toward Union Station in Denver as its next stop in the trek to Emeryville.
